Parties and other special events aren’t complete without the all-too familiar confetti. Confetti is made of small pieces or streamers of paper, mylar or even metallic material. We discovered a DIY tutorial by VJuliet that will teach you how to make a bowl that’s made of confetti! All you have to do is to get some Mod Podge, confetti and an inflated balloon and you’re all set for this cool DIY project!

Additional ideas – Here are some things that you can do with a couple of these confetti bowls:
1. Party Bowls For Your Candy Buffet Table – If you’re throwing a party, you can fill your confetti bowls with yummy candy and chocolates. Your guests will surely admire your homemade bowls!

2. Store Your Jewelry And Other Knick Knacks..

3. Color Coded Nail Polish Storage Containers – For those of you who love to collect nail polishes, why don’t you make your room look more interesting by storing your nail polishes in color coded confetti bowls? Cut up pieces of paper and glittery material. Sort these sheets by color. Once you’ve made your confetti bowls, store your nail polishes by color. For example, white and cream shades are stored in the white confetti bowl while your blue polishes are stored in the blue confetti bowl. Arrange these bowls on your nail polish shelf. Decorate the shelf with small mason jars and top each jar with a small bunch of fake flowers. You can also add a few interesting items for a more whimsical touch! It will spruce up your nail polish collection for sure!

Ok, heres something that you will love: Aside from creating your confetti bowls with them, you can use your inflatable balloons to make yummy chocolate bowls! Here’s how you can do it:

1. Melt your favorite chocolate in the microwave or in a “double boiler”. You may need to read the label for instructions on how to heat the chocolate. Chocolate can burn if you don’t know how to melt it properly.

2. Inflate a few balloons and dip each balloon in the melted chocolate.

3. Lay the chocolate dipped balloons on a sheet of aluminum foil and stick them in the freezer for at least 10 minutes.

4. Take them out of the freezer and dip them again in the melted chocolate (you may need to melt this again).

5. Freeze your chocolate bowls for another 10 minutes.

6. Pop the balloons and remove them from your chocolate bowls.

7. Fill your bowls with ice cream or other yummy treats!

8. If you have some melted chocolate left, you can dip your favorite fruits in it. 😉 Fun times…
