The cold winter months can get so chilly that we are left with no choice but to layer up. This wonderful tutorial by We Can Re-Do It will show us how to create warm fuzzy bedtime slippers that will help warm our footsies in the evenings! The link follows after our additional suggestions.

It’s a really cool project to do but the only downside is that if you have smooth floors it could be too slippy. If so, you can add a sole that’s made out of rubber so that it will create more grip on the floor.

Here are some bonus suggestions that you can try with these cozy slippers:
1. Make Baby Slippers – You can use the tutorial as a guide to make slippers for babies. You can get the material from other garments (Not just sweaters!). You can even jazz them up by choosing garments in different textures like sequined shirts or soft knit tops.

2. Use Them To Pamper Your Footsies – Treat your tired feet every other night by pampering them with some moisturizing body butter! Starting with clean and dry feet, take a liberal amount of body butter and massage your feet well (You can of course ask someone special to do this for you).

Once you’re done, add more body butter and wrap your feet in saran wrap or any plastic bag. Wear your warm sweater slippers and let the body butter’s moisturizing properties sink into your skin. Leave this on overnight and you will have super soft feet in the morning!
